Umrah can be undertaken at any time of the year.
Between the 8th and 12th days of the Islamic Lunar Month called “Dhul – Hijjah”
The Hajj is one of the 5 pillars of Islam and it is compulsory for Muslims who are able-bodied and have the financial means whereas Umrah is highly recommended, although not compulsory for Muslims.
Only Muslims are allowed in the Makkah (Mecca) and Medina area. Hajj & Umrah is exclusively for people of the Islamic faith
There is no minimum age to do both.
An Umrah that is accepted by Allah will result in the expiation of sins InshaAllah.
A Hajj that is accepted by Allah will result in the individual’s sins being extinguished and the person would be elevated to the level of purity, just like a newborn baby that carries no sins InshaAllah.
The Umrah is not compulsory but highly recommended while the Hajj is only compulsory for Muslims who are able-bodied and have the financial means.
